Stari Most
Mostar is a city situated on the Neretva River is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. Explore the Old Bazaar also known as the Turkish and the cobbled old town that extends on both sides of the bridge and is filled with shops selling Oriental souvenirs. Some of the sights included are the 1618 Koski Mehmed Pasa Mosque with a commanding view of the Stari from its minaret. Within the mosque, lit by an immense chandelier plus natural light filtered through coloured glass, is some beautiful linear design work outlining the interior architectural shapes and mihrab. Continue to Sarajevo the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Included in your city tour of this capital is Stari Grad ("Old Town") the oldest and most historically significant part of Sarajevo. Visit Bascarsija Square with its Sebilj Fountain and Gazi Husrev Bey's Mosque Complex to view some of the important and the city’s most remarkable monument from the Ottoman period. Lastly visit Latin Bridge - the place where World War One started. Continue to Travnik a beautiful town not too far from Sarajevo, which encompasses a good mix of medieval and also Ottoman architecture. Explore the castle with its well preserved tower. It contains a small museum covering the history of the city. Visitors can also walk around all sides of the walled area to get a 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. Visit the nearby Alaca Mosque which is built in Ottoman style and fame for its beautiful frescos. End your day with a visit to Jajce the 14th Century capital of Bosnia. Visit the Royal Fortress, the Mlincici Complex, Pliva Springs and the Katakombe Museum which will take your breath away and make you fall in love with this unique cultural complex.

Visit to the latest discovery in Bosnia! The Bosnian Pyramids which are a cluster of natural hills in central Bosnia and Herzegovina and are the largest human-made ancient pyramids on Earth. Let the guide explain to you how it was discovered and what the purpose of the pyramids. Later embark on a visit to the War Tunnel also known as the Tunnel of Hope, which was the major “blood vessel” for heavily sieged and destroyed city. Watch a short movie about the War in Sarajevo and Tunnel, followed by going through the Tunnel itself. In the museum, view many interesting exhibits directly connected with the Siege of Sarajevo. Later, head back to Sarajevo city center and free time for shopping.
