Upon arrival in Johannesburg, pick-up from airport and embark on your journey with a visit Pretoria, one of the three capital cities and the administrative capital in South Africa. Start your tour with a city tour driving past Union Buildings, Kruger House and Church Square. Visit the Queen Street Pretoria Mosque, opened in 1928 where it was stand above once an old wood and iron structure. Thereafter, continue to Game Reserve for your night stay.

Today, transfer to Johannesburg, where you will be visiting the Lesedi Cultural Village, located in the heart of African bushveld amidst the rocky hills within the Cradle of Humankind and a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will discover the fascinating culture, heritage and traditions of people of Africa. Next, continue with a visit to Kerk Street Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Johannesburg.

This morning, proceed to Soweto, a township of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan. Its name derives from the English syllabic abbreviation for “South Western Townships”. Next, visit the Kliptown Open Air Museum, where delegates met in 1955 to adopt the Freedom Charter. Continue your visit to Hector Pieterson Museum to discover the cause of his death during the riot in 1976. Visit the Soweto Tower and Mandela’s House. Lastly, view the largest stadium in Africa, the Soccer City, hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final.

This morning, proceed to the domestic terminal for your flight to Cape Town. A port city and one of the three capital cities in South Africa. It serves as the legislative capital of the country and oldest city in the country. Proceed to Table Mountain and you will have a chance to reach the top of the mountain by cable car if weather permits. Next, continue to the Malay Quarter of the city known as “Bo-Kaap”, a former racially segregated area. Explore the area with distinctive architectural Mosques, narrow and cobbled-stone streets of the town. Visit the Auwal Mosque, the oldest mosque in South Africa. Drive passes the House of Parliament, the City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope – the restored fort of Cape Town.

Enjoy a full-day tour of Cape Peninsula to visit the Atlantic suburbs of Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay and last but not least, Hout Bay for a 45-mins boat ride to Seal Island (if weather permits). Continue your journey and drive along False Bay to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve for a visit to Cape Point and ascend the highest peak. Next, proceed your tour with driving into the Boulder Beach and see the African penguins up close. Continue passed Simon’s Town, an old naval base and the largest in South Africa.

After breakfast, proceed with a 45-minutes ferry ride to Robben Island, a heritage island museum site where it was a former prison where the famous Mandela Nelson was held for 18 years of his 27 years. The name comes from a Dutch word meaning “seal” where it is also known as the seal island. Returning to Cape Town where you will spend the rest of the day free at leisure.
