Upon arrival in Melbourne, embark on your journey to Phillip Island, an island south eastern of Melbourne with a visit to Maru Koala and Animal Park where you will have a chance to laze around with them. Next, proceed to Panny’s World of Chocolate for tasty chocolate lovers while you indulge on chocolatey dessert at your own expense. In the evening, head over to the Penguin Reserve to watch the popular penguin parade. Behold the spectacular sight of groups of penguins returning ashore to their sand burrows after feeding at sea. Note: Do bring some warm clothing as Phillip Island can get cold at night.

After breakfast, start your day touring to Dandenong Ranges renowned for its cool climate gardens, with spectacular collections of rare plants to explosions of seasonal color. It is here where you can hand feed the birds. Take a ride on Puffing Billy, a steam train that runs through the scenic Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy the scenic nature reserves as the train wind through the forest. Next, driving back to Melbourne enroute to Yarra Valley for a visit to Rayner’s Fruit Orchard. Tour the orchard and learn more about seasonal fruit, the farming practices and the taste fruits that you would have not known about. Lastly, stop by Brighton Beach for some Instagram-able photos with the beautiful Coloured Bathing Box along the beach.

Start your day with a visit and shop at Queen Victoria Market. The largest opened air market in the southern hemisphere opened in 1878, covering over 7-hectares. After which, embark on your city tour with driving past Fitzroy Garden, Yarra River, Captain Cook's Cottage and Federation Square a “must visit” attraction for tourist and local alike. Later, visit the Melbourne Mosque. Lastly, stop by DFO for your shopping spree with more than 190 stores for you to choose from. (Note: QVM is closed on Mon, Wed and Aussie Public Holidays).

Shopping
After breakfast, spend the day at leisure. Join an optional tour to Great Ocean Road, one of the world’s most spectacular coastal routes, at your own expense. If you are interested in the glorious history of the gold rush era, go on an optional tour to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat, at your own expense. Experience the daily rituals of the gold mining days with a stroll down the streets to visit the goldsmiths, craftsmen and traders. Or go on more shopping spree.
