Basilica Of the Annunciation
Upon arrival, drive north to Carmelite Monastery in Muhraqa. Next, drive to Nazareth and visit Basilica of the Annunciation, erected over the grotto where according to tradition, the archangel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would be the mother of Christ. Visit the nearby Church of St Joseph before you continue to Cana. Visit Franciscan Wedding Church, where Jesus changed water into wine. Couples will have the chance to renew their marriage vows here. After which, begin the drive to Tiberias for your overnight stay.

Mt Of Beatitudes

Enjoy a scenic drive to Mt of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Proceed to Capernaum to see the ruins of an ancient Galilean synagogue, and the church built over the ruins which was believed to be the house of St Peter. Continue to visit Church of the Multiplication and Chapel of Peter’s Primacy. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee as Jesus and the apostles did. In the afternoon, drive to the summit of Mt Tabor, where the miracle of the Transfiguration of Christ took place.

Depart for Jerusalem
After breakfast, drive to Yardenit, a traditional baptism site frequented by Christian pilgrims. Then, drive along Jordan Valley and through the desert to Jericho, believed to be one of the world’s oldest cities. Thereafter, proceed to the Dead Sea, commonly known as Sea of Salt and is also the lowest spot on the surface of the globe. Here, you will enjoy a floating experience on seawater in the world’s largest natural spa. After which, depart for Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, for your overnight stay.

Church of St Catherine
After breakfast, drive to Bethlehem to visit Church of the Nativity, which is built over the tomb of St Geronimo. In the grotto under the altar, see the silver star making the place of Jesus’ birth. Next to the Church of the Nativity is Church of St Catherine. It is in this church that Christmas midnight mass is celebrated and relayed throughout the world via satellite. Visit Shepherd’s Field, where angels appeared to the shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus. Continue to Ein Karem, an ancient neighbourhood and the birthplace of John the Baptist. Take a slow uphill climb to Church of the Visitation. Next, head to the holiest site of the Jewish nation, the Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre
This morning, drive up to the Mount of Olives stopping at Church of the Ascension and Church of Pater Noster, where you will see different translations of the Lord’s Prayer. Walk along Palm Sunday Road passing by Church of Dominus Flevit, where the Lord wept and shed a tear for the city of Jerusalem. Next, head to Garden of Gethsemane and Basilica of Agony. In the afternoon, return to the old city of Jerusalem stopping at Church of St Anne and Pool of Bethesda. Next, walk along Via Dolorosa, also known as Way of the Cross, which commemorates Jesus’ route to crucifixion. End your tour at Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried according to the New Testament.

After breakfast, spend some time at leisure before you cross the border to Amman, the capital of Jordan. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

Kerak Castle
This morning, travel to Madaba, the City of Mosaics, which owes its popularity to a lavish mosaic map of the Holy Land that covers the floor of Greek Orthodox Church of St George. Thereafter, proceed to Mt Nebo, the hill where the prophet Moses was said to have been granted a view of the Promised Land before he died. Admire the brilliant Byzantine mosaics in the church, and the views of Jordan Valley and the ancient lands of Judah and Jericho from the summit. Next, head to Kerak, a historic Crusader stronghold sitting 900 metres above sea level. See Kerak Castle and learn about how it became a stronghold of the Crusader states in the early 12th century. After which, travel to ancient Petra, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, for your overnight stay.

Wadi Rum
This morning, get ready to discover one of the world’s most breathtaking ancient cities. Take a short horseback ride to the entrance of Siq, a narrow gorge flanked on either side by high cliffs. Walk through the Siq and hold your breath as you approach Al-Khazneh, or the Treasury, Petra’s most spectacular monument which is considered as one of the most elegant remnants of the ancient world. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Wadi Rum. Featuring a uniquely shaped mountain rising from the rosy red desert landscape, this is truly a sight not to be missed. Explore the unique rock formations of the desert with a 4WD desert experience before you return to Amman for your overnight stay.

Citadel Hill
After breakfast, start your city tour at the Citadel, home to Temple of Hercules dating back to Roman and Byzantine times. Next, discover Roman Forum and Roman Theatre, the largest theatre in Jordan with room for 6,000 spectators. End your tour with a visit to Jordan Archaeological Museum, home to archaeological relics from allover the country dating from prehistoric times to the 15th century.
